Dental Minds opened in 2021 with an educator’s mindset and one goal: to make dentistry something you actually understand. Too often, patients leave the dentist unsure of what was done or why. We set out to change that. In our thoughtfully designed office in the heart of Logan Square, we take the time to explain every diagnosis and every treatment so you can make confident decisions about your own health.

Dental Minds was founded by Dr. Steve Moon, who built the practice around patient education and honest, transparent care. We’re also glad to welcome our newest associate dentist, Dr. Keesey, who shares the same commitment to listening first and treating every patient like a partner in their care.

Why Dental Minds?
How often should I book an appointment?
A good rule of thumb is to visit us for checkups and cleanings twice a year. If you have a condition that requires special care or you need a specific treatment, one of our dentists will create a customized plan for you that will detail how frequently you’ll need to visit us.
Do I need to book an appointment?
We love preparing for your visit, and that’s why we encourage you to book in advance.
Can’t schedule? Don’t worry, it’s okay to walk in, too! We do our best to accommodate walk-in emergencies, but keep in mind there might be some wait time. In case we can’t help you that same day, we can schedule a near future appointment.
I have dental anxiety. Can you help me?
Feeling anxious about going to the dentist is normal! At Dental Minds, we enjoy talking with our patients and helping them feel comfortable and empowered from day one. If you’re worried about getting dental treatment, one of our dentists will address all your concerns and ensure that you feel relaxed before we begin any treatment.
